Milka Vasilijević, born in Smederevo. Studied Literature and Theory of Literature at the Faculty of Philology (University of Belgrade) and Communications at the Faculty of Media and Communications (Singidunum University), where she is working towards her MA Degree in Culture of Global Media: Gender and Media. She is interested in gender studies, identity and modern concepts of human rights. Currently, she is engaged in the realization of the regional campaign “I Sign”, dealing with prevention and combating violence against women, which is being implemented by the Autonomous Women’s Center, Belgrade. Lives and works in Belgrade.
